About this painting: 

Recuerdas is a portrait that began as a purely artistic experiment – reduced, calm, focused on technique. Only later did it reveal an unexpected emotional depth: a real-life encounter, a face, an expression – all of it suddenly reflected in the painting, without intention.

Perhaps some images work like premonitions. Perhaps they touch something before we even understand it ourselves.
